Recently, the Ministry of Education issued a certificate for the Outstanding Achievement Award (Science and Technology) of Scientific Research in Institutions of Higher Learning. Anhui Huibang Bioengineering Co., Ltd. jointly with the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Capital Medical University declared the project: "Research and Application of Molecular Targets for Diabetes" won the second prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of the Ministry of Education.
Brief introduction of award-winning projects:
The results of this project have solved key technical problems such as the complex pathogenesis of diabetes and related complications, lack of effective diagnostic markers and predictive indicators, established a new program for clinical diagnosis and prevention of diabetes and its complications, and discovered new molecular targets for diabetes treatment. Established a technical system for early diagnosis of diabetic nephropathy, and opened up a new method for screening, diagnosis and treatment of diabetic retinopathy. The results have significantly improved the innovation capability of my country's diabetes research field, as well as the early diagnosis and prevention of diabetes and its complications, filled the research gap in related fields, and enhanced the academic status and international influence of my country's diabetes research in the world.
It is understood that the Outstanding Scientific Research Achievement Award (Science and Technology) of Colleges and Universities is divided into Natural Science Award, Technological Invention Award, Science and Technology Progress Award and Youth Science Award. Individuals and units, the award review is open to institutions of higher learning across the country, reviewed and selected by peer experts across the country, and the competition is fierce.
